The news that France captain Kylian Mbappe suffered a broken nose in his country's 1-0 win over Austria was confirmed on Tuesday.
Mbappe was substituted from the field of play with a suspected broken nose following a collision with the shoulder of Austria's Kevin Danso shortly before the 90-minute mark.

Despite Mbappe's injury, France is still the joint-favourite to win Euro 2024.
Les Bleus started the competition at 4/1. England were 7/2. Both nations are now 4/1 joint-favourites with William Hill.
England has drifted on the back of their 1-0 win over Serbia. From a French perspective, the injury to their influential captain hasn't made any difference to their odds.
The French Football Federation (FFF) has already announced that Mbappe will have a protective mask made.
But at this moment in time, his participation in his nation's match with the Netherlands on Friday remains in doubt.
