Luton vs West Ham Tips; Back goals at Kenilworth Road

Football Betting Tips for Luton vs West Ham; Friday night football comes from Kenilworth Road as Luton Town get to play in front of their home fans for the first time in the Premier League this season.

The Hatters face a West Ham side who have got off to a flying start, and who will fancy adding to their impressive points tally against the Premier League new boys.

  • Who - Luton Town vs. West Ham
  • Competition - 2023/24 Premier League
  • Where - Kenilworth Road, Luton, England
  • When - Friday, 1st September, 2023
  • Time - 8 pm BST

Luton has had a baptism of fire in the Premier League. Away fixtures at Brighton and Chelsea to get the season started aren't ideal. Although in fairness, they're not the matches Rob Edwards' team will need to win if they are to stay up.

In those two defeats, Luton have given up a lot of possession and a lot of chances, and they will be looking to improve on that when they finally get to play at Kenilworth Road. But can they, against a West Ham team who are flying?

West Ham have made an excellent start to the new season and sit second in the table on seven points. It's early days, but the signs are positive for David Moyes and his team after a poor 2022/23 Premier League campaign.

James Ward-Prowse seems to have settled in seamlessly, and the Hammers also have big money signings Edson Alvarez and Mohammed Kudus waiting to impress.

Luton Town vs West Ham Betting Tips

Even with their excellent start, West Ham at odds on isn't an obvious bet. We've gone for them in our match prediction to win, but that doesn't mean we have to back them to win at those short odds.

Luton will be fired up. It's the first time they've played a home Premier League match, and they will see West Ham as a side that can be beaten.

So we simply can't touch West Ham at those odds.

The best football betting sites have over 2.5 goals at 5/6, and both teams to score at 4/5. We feel there will be goals, so both of these prices appeal.

We don't trust West Ham to win. But we don't see Luton winning either. So for our football betting tips, we're hedging our bets.

Back both teams to score and the draw at 4/1. Along with both teams to score and West Ham to win at 11/4. Either bet will see a nice profit.
