Saturday night in Serie A looks to have been pivotal as Lazio lose again, and all but hand Juventus the title on a plate.
AC Milan go from the ridiculous to the sublime.
They were 2-0 down to 10 men SPAL until the 79th minute last Wednesday night, and only scraped a 2-2 draw with an own goal equaliser in the 94th minute.
This is a SPAL side who were 8 points from safety, and played with 10 men from the 43rd minute.
Granted, Milan did dominate the possession and the chances created, but they were extremely lucky to snatch a draw.
Lazio lose to AC Milan and blow slim Serie A chance
Roll on three days later, and they head over to Rome to take on second placed Lazio, and go and win 3-0. And in doing so, gifted Juventus a 7 point lead, and basically the title.
Juve are now as short as 1/25 to win Serie A for the ninth year in a row.
Maurizio Sarri's team won the Turin Derby 4-1, with goals from Dybala, Cuadrado, Ronaldo and an own goal sealing his side's victory.
This was the seventh win in a row for Juventus. A run that includes four straight wins since the league's resumption.
There is still eight match to go in Italy. But even so, it's hard to imagine Juventus blowing a 7 point lead in that space of time.
Watch this space though. Guess who Ronaldo and co are playing this Tuesday? Yes, that's right, AC Milan (8.45pm Kick-Off).
It just remains to be seen which Milan will turn up at the San Siro.
